I finally tried chawanmushi at my grandmother's house, and only just learned it uses egg 🐧

I was served chawanmushi at my grandmother's house.

I have this image of it being something often served at sushi restaurants, but even though I am Japanese, I had never once eaten it, and I had somehow decided I disliked it without trying it.

So chawanmushi is a dish made with egg. I did not know that until today. 😳

I guess food that looks like pudding usually uses egg.
