My favorite position at my McDonald's part-time job was "runner" 🏃

At McDonald's, there are many positions, like fries maker, drinks maker, counter, and assembler.

Among them, my favorite was "runner."

The runner is the person who puts drinks, fries, and burgers together in a bag or on a tray and hands them to the customer.

I think it is probably the position at McDonald's that needs the most multitasking.

There is a target for serving time, so it is just really busy.

But if needed, you can go help with drinks, fries, and assembling, so people around you count on you.

You also say "Welcome" the most, and you talk a lot with the kitchen people.

I also liked that nobody says anything even when you move around the store, and it was easygoing.

Lunchtime was especially fun.

While burgers kept piling up, handling them super fast, like "this one is for this customer," felt great.

By the way, mistakes like "○○ is missing" or "wrong burger" tend to be the runner's fault.
