In Suzuka, even the welcome sign is about racing 🏁

My father took me to Suzuka City in Mie Prefecture.

My father drove the car from Nagoya to Suzuka Circuit.

When we got off the highway in Suzuka, a "Welcome to SUZUKA" sign suddenly welcomed us.

And it had a racing checkered flag pattern.

I had wondered if it might, and it did.

When you think of Suzuka, you think of Suzuka Circuit.

I felt like the whole town was saying "Welcome to the circuit," and I got a little excited.

But even after getting off the highway, you drive on local roads for quite a while to Suzuka Circuit.

In the passenger seat, I started to worry about things I did not need to.

At F1 time, surely tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands of people from Japan and abroad gather here to watch.

"Can all those people stay at hotels?"

"Can everyone really get to the circuit?"

I got a little worried about the transportation and the area around Suzuka Circuit, so much that I got nervous on my own.

But F1 is held here properly every year, so it must be fine.
