The dorm floor was so shiny I could almost see my face in it 🐧
When I worked at a language school in Clark, I lived in a really clean dorm room.
The floor was shiny, so clean that my own face was almost reflected in it.
Because it was a school with Korean capital, I lived in a place that really felt like a Korean home, built like a condominium you would find in Seoul.
There were times when I could use that room all by myself, and in busy seasons there were times when two of us shared one room.
The soundproofing was perfect too, and when I closed the windows it was very quiet. There was also a kitchen, and hot water came out of the shower.
And one thing I thought was rare for abroad, I was happy that I could flush the toilet paper down the toilet.
They let me live in a really good place like that.
There was a hamburger shop nearby, a shop called Blue Shaka. That was fun too, and I liked eating there. But the prices were really high.
