Suzuka Circuit has a 700 m underground paddock tunnel 🚇

At the race track of Suzuka Circuit, there is a place called the "paddock tunnel."

To begin with, I do not really understand what "paddock" means, though.

(I looked it up later: "Paddock" is originally a horse racing word, the place where horses are shown before a race.

At a race circuit, it means the area behind the pits where teams' trucks and workshops are.

So the paddock tunnel is a tunnel that goes from the stands to the teams' workshops.)

Anyway, you can go a little under the race track.

And this underground part is really long.

It is not 1 kilometer, but this underground path goes on for about 700 meters.

If you walk through it, you can get to the opposite side from the stands.

Following this underground path was a little exciting.
