When someone gets angry at me, I focus on them instead of blaming myself 🔦
Relationships 🐧 How I think when someone gets angry at me.
I often get really quite down when someone gets angry at me. But in this post, I will talk about how maybe reflecting like that does not really help the team.
When someone gets angry at you, do not focus on yourself, focus on the other person.
Maybe they are not feeling well. Maybe they have their own situation, you think.
If you blame yourself and think "someone like me," in the end you become unable to act, and that causes trouble for the community.
So, in order to contribute to the community, no matter what mistake you made, you must not blame yourself and think "someone like me."
If you really want to be useful to the people around you, you have to keep being proud of yourself, and your being well is in the end the best thing for the community, so blaming yourself and shrinking does not help the team.
I heard this kind of story in a video before.
Until now, I thought that reflecting on yourself was a good thing. But it is true that I always reflected too much, and the people around me became scary to me. I have been trapped by the thought "someone like me..." and become unable to take constructive action.
So you must never blame yourself, and when someone gets angry at you, you can take it more lightly, like, maybe they are not feeling well, or, this person has their own situation too, and then take what they pointed out seriously and fix it from the next time.
I think not blaming yourself is the most useful thing for the team.
Because if I am down, I cannot show the performance I could originally have shown, and that causes trouble for the team.
