The letters and gifts students brought me made me happy 🐧

One thing that made me happy, working at the language school in Clark, was the letters and gifts I got from students.

There is one letter among all the ones I got from students that made me the happiest.

The kind students, whether Korean or Japanese or Taiwanese or Chinese, sometimes brought me souvenirs. They would say "here, this is a souvenir, a Japanese souvenir" or "you must miss Japan, right?" and bring me yatsuhashi, or give me unusual Korean snacks.

Getting souvenirs like that made me a little happy.
