When you get tired in Southeast Asia, book a hotel for day use 🏊

Too Hot

This is my recommended way to spend the daytime when you are tired on a trip in Southeast Asia or somewhere like that.

In Southeast Asia, the daytime is hot, right?

If you try to keep traveling from about 8 in the morning until night, it is hard.

5 AM Flight

On this trip, because of a flight trouble, our flight from Kuala Lumpur airport to Kansai Airport was going to leave at 5 the next morning.

The time moved.

Because the flight was at 5 the next morning, in a good way, I could use most of the daytime.

I could stay in Kuala Lumpur city until about 1 at night.

I thought, "What, I have this much time left?"

Tired But Eager

I am in Kuala Lumpur, so I want to enjoy it.

But I am really tired.

Killing time at a cafe until midnight felt like a waste somehow.

I do not want to get tired.

I want to go sightseeing with energy at night.

So I want to recover a little.

But the flight leaves at 5 the next morning, so it is not worth booking a hotel, checking in, and staying the night.

Day Use

That is when I finally found "day use."

On Agoda and other sites, you can book a hotel for day use.

For example, it is a way of booking where you can stay at the hotel for only 4 hours, from 14:30 to 18:30.

I did not know there was a way of booking like this.

With Agoda, you can book hotels, and you can also book day use.

You want to relax a little during a trip abroad.

At times like that, I really recommend this day use.

52nd Floor Pool

I rested at the day use hotel for about 3 and a half hours.

That hotel had an infinity pool very high up, on the 52nd floor.

Burger And Nap

I went back to the room, ate a hamburger by the window, had a drink, and took a nap for about 3 hours.

Under 3,000 Yen

Thanks to that, my trip in Kuala Lumpur at night, when it was cool, became even more fun.

And it was about 2,800 yen for about 4 hours.

There was an infinity pool, and the room was very clean, but it was under 3,000 yen.

It may be a common thing in Southeast Asia or on trips abroad, but if you try to enjoy the whole day, you get tired instead.

Rest a good amount.

For those times to rest, this Agoda day use feature helped me a lot.
