As a temp worker, my heart races a little every 3 months 💓

Temp workers often sign a contract every 3 months.

In my case, the staffing company I belonged to merged while I was working, so my contract was renewed a little irregularly, like 2 months → 3 months → 6 months.

When the first 2 months ended, and when the next 3 months ended, my heart beat a little fast.

Whether you can keep working there usually gets decided about 2 or 3 weeks before the contract ends.

I also get a survey message about 1 month before the renewal, asking, "Do you want to continue?"

1. 📩 About 1 month before: "Do you want to continue?"
2. ✅ About 2–3 weeks before: renewal is decided
3. 🏁 Contract ends

So from about 1 month before the contract ends until the renewal is decided, I feel a little restless.

I feel like, "No way, they won't stop renewing only me, right? 🥺 No way, right?? 🥺"

Before the contract, I feel a little tense, and my feeling of "I have to work hard" gets stronger than usual.

Well, in most cases, I think if you come to work every day without being late and say hello properly, they will not stop your renewal.

I am not sure. It also depends on the situation of the company.

It is like a small exam result day that comes every 3 months.
